Our inspiration was a man who was born colour-blind, but used a wearable device to gain the ability to perceive - and even dream in- colour! We quickly realized the principles at play apply to any data type, allowing for a much more adaptable conscious experience. In order to preserve evolutionary fitness, species over the millennia have learned to sense and react to their environment. Our current focus is to allow people with high anxiety to sense their internal environment (i.e. their biometrics), to give a much stronger degree of control over their emotions. Once users are able to sense more subtle, positive changes in their biometrics, they can learn to reliably reproduce those in more stressful situations to counter their anxiety.
